taylor's subang.
Yeah, just to be extremely clear, I know nothing about the place. I mean, Ian tried giving me directions, and I couldn't find my way from Starbucks to the CPU building. I'm that bad at directions. And at Chinese too. :P
First rehearsal for Broadway today. Finally feels so great to be back in my own genre. X)

pony rides.
Yes, today, I got up at 6.30 am especially for these bunch of adorable little kids. It didn't take a lot of effort to get me out of bed though. I was honestly excited to clean up the ponies before they arrived. Do I sound like a workaholic or what? X)
When I arrived, I spent half an hour bathing this fella right here, Quickstep . . . with a bucket of soap and water *pokes little green bucket behind Quickstep*. I believe I scrubbed him from head to tail. Man, I don't even clean myself up this well. And of course, after I was done, I think I might as well have taken a bath myself. I was soaked, but it was all in good fun. :D
At 9.30 the little kids came along, and suddenly I felt so tall. That feeling doesn't come everyday. No in fact, it barely comes along, unless I'm in 5 inch heels. I had fun hoisting up the little kids onto the ponies and bringing them in a huge circle around the paddock. Everybody wanted a piece of Danny. The ponies totally got pampered today, with their share of carrots and apples and the sort.
(His mane looks so pretty here. I brushed him well. :P )
And now, after a tiring morning, I'm sitting at home, listening to Glee songs from next week's episode. It's gonna be amazing, I can just tell.
hey soul sister.

post a levels.
I don't really have much on my to-do list before I *hopefully* leave to UK for my university studies. At the moment, its pretty short. :)
- To catch up with everyone I haven't seen in ages cause of my studies. I feel terrible for not bothering to keep in touch with some of my best friends, sometimes even forgetting their birthdays. Basically, spend as much time as possible with the people I love.
- To dabble in as much dance events as possible before I leave. Trying some contemporary dance classes is pretty much at the top of my list.
- Learn how to cook, because I don't feel like burning down a building, especially not in central London.
- Start preparing for the future. Because I don't want to be scraping through my university classes, and I actually do want to do well. I'm going to take as many opportunities for attachments as I can.
You can tell I'm dying to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
It somehow feels like I have so much time, yet no time at all.
*returns to sifting huge piles of A level material*

RVC Exhibition @ Singapore
I’m proud to say I have utilized the public transport in Singapore! Holding my cousin’s Ezlink card in my hand and tagging them as I went onto the bus and as I entered the MRT station, I must say it felt like a blast from the future. Singaporeans are definitely very efficient.
Still, I did walk 20 minutes from the Orchard MRT Station to Trader’s Hotel near Tanglin Mall. That walk, was not an easy walk. Thankfully I had the sensibility to wear my flats and pack my heels in my bag to change later on. The Trader’s Hotel itself was definitely impressive. I even had the opportunity to meet an Edinburgh vet graduate of 1951! To think the people you would meet being shocked by an automatic opening door. Yes, I’m officially impressed by the technology in Singapore.
The little exhibition was catered specifically for 12 of us students who were given conditional offers ( no interviews necessary *wide grin* ), I’m guessing in South East Asia. The purpose of the exhibition? To introduce us to university life at the Royal Vet College. We were each given a little welcome pack, complete with an official copy of our offer letters, complete with the RVC headnote. The course structure was so carefully thought out, up to date with the required aspects needed for a modern veterinarian. Despite the hefty costs of living in central London, it was definitely made out to be a great place. I was definitely sold.
This followed with a meet and greet session outside the function room. I admit, the food was spectacularly delicious. From dim sum to western food, I’m pretty sure they covered it all. This was when I got to know more about the lecturers and the other 11 potential students at RVC. We exchanged all sorts of animal stories, and had a really good laugh. Although none of us looked like the stereotypical vet student, I must say, they were extremely brilliant.
Definitely looking forward to uni life. ;)
